Anthony Joshua Crash X: what the search means, and what Crash X the game actually is

Around 450 people in Britain search for anthony joshua crash x every month. Some want the news about the boxer's car crash in Nigeria as it broke on X. Some want Crash X, the rocket game by Turbo Games. A few have heard there is an Anthony Joshua edition. We cover all three, including the one we could not find.

Anthony Joshua crash X is a search that means three different things depending on who typed it, and only one of them is a game. The first reading is the news: Anthony Joshua, the two-time heavyweight champion, was in a car crash in Nigeria at the end of December 2025, and the story broke and spread on X, the platform formerly called Twitter. The second reading is Crash X, a rocket-themed crash game by Turbo Games that has been in casino lobbies since 2021. The third is the one we were asked to write about: an Anthony Joshua edition of Crash X. We looked hard for it. We could not find it. All three are below, in that order.

Diagram splitting the search anthony joshua crash x into the news story, the Turbo Games crash game and the unverified edition

The news, briefly and without speculation

On 29 December 2025, nine days after his win over Jake Paul in Miami, Joshua was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a stationary truck on a major road near Lagos. Two members of his team died: Sina Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach, and Latif Ayodele, a trainer. Joshua sustained minor injuries, was discharged from hospital on 31 December after being judged fit to recover at home, and flew back to Britain in the first days of January 2026 ahead of the funerals. The driver was charged with dangerous and reckless driving. In April 2026 Joshua announced his first fight since the crash.

That is the extent of what this page will say about it. The coverage lives on the news sites, and the reason it sits next to a casino game in a search box is an accident of vocabulary: "crash" and "X" are also the name of a Turbo Games product.

The Anthony Joshua edition: what we found, which is nothing

Turbo Games does make themed Crash X variants. A football edition arrived in 2022 with a pitch for a playfield and footballs to dodge on cash-out. The studio has shipped seasonal skins since. So an Anthony Joshua edition is the kind of thing that could exist; boxer-branded crash games are a real genre, and a Mike Tyson one launched in late 2024.

As of our last check in October 2026, we found no Anthony Joshua edition of Crash X in Turbo Games' catalogue, in its press announcements, in any casino lobby we searched, or on any affiliate listing that was not simply echoing the search term back. The "Crash X Anthony Joshua" pages that do exist are pages like this one, written because the keyword exists. We think the keyword exists because the car crash was a huge story on X and people typed what they saw. If Turbo Games or anyone else announces an AJ-branded crash game, we will add it here with the facts. Until then, treat any site offering you an "Anthony Joshua Crash X download" with the suspicion it deserves.

What follows is the real game.

What Crash X is

Crash X is Turbo Games' crash title, released in March 2021. A rocket sits on the pad, a round starts, the rocket climbs and a multiplier rises from 1.00x. At a random point the rocket explodes. Cash out before it does and your stake is paid at the multiplier shown; wait too long and the stake is gone. Rounds are quick, the interface is sparse, and there is nothing in it that Aviator players will need explaining.

Crash X round in progress with the rocket climbing past 1.8x and two bet panels below Crash X at 1.8x. The rocket is the only thing on screen that is not a number.

Turbo Games updated it in May 2022 with the features that make it slightly more than a clone: two parallel bet panels with independent auto cash-out, an auto bet mode, a personal statistics screen (flights, flying hours, highest multiplier, average multiplier) and a rank ladder from Bronze through Silver, Gold and Elite to Legend, based on the number of flights. The studio's own release notes say the two-bet layout doubles operator turnover, which is at least honest about who the feature is for.

Crash X at a glance

ProviderTurbo Games
ReleasedMarch 2021
RTP95-97%
Max win1,000x
Min bet0.10
TypeClassic multiplier crash

The two numbers to notice are the RTP and the cap. Independent trackers list Crash X at 95%, and Turbo Games quotes a range to 97% depending on how the operator configures it. Either way it is below Aviator's 97% and well below Limbo's 99%. The maximum win is 1,000x the stake, a hard cap that Aviator does not have at the studio level. A 拢1 bet in Crash X can never pay more than 拢1,000, and the rounds that would have gone higher end at 1,000x.

How a round plays, in pounds

Stakes run from 10p to 拢100 per panel, two panels per round. The multiplier curve follows the same shape as every crash game: the chance that the rocket reaches a target m is roughly the RTP divided by m. At 95% that gives a 2x target about 47.5% of the time, 3x about 31.7%, 10x about 9.5%. Compare Aviator at 48.5%, 32.3% and 9.7%. The gap looks small per round. Over 1,000 rounds at 拢1 it is about 拢20 of extra expected loss, which is the difference between a 3% edge and a 5% one.

A 拢1 bet with auto cash-out at 1.50x wins 50p roughly 63 rounds in 100 and loses 拢1 the other 37, for an expected loss of 5p per bet. A 拢1 bet riding to 10x wins 拢9 one round in ten or so and loses 拢1 the other nine, same 5p. The game does not care where you cash out. You should, because the two experiences feel completely different and only one of them is survivable on a small balance.

Our view: Crash X is a competent crash game with a worse RTP and a lower ceiling than the game it imitates, and its one genuinely different idea, the personal stats and rank screen, is retention mechanics rather than gameplay. If you can get Aviator you have no reason to play Crash X. If you cannot, which in the UK is currently everyone, the question is academic, because you cannot get Crash X either. The global Crash X page has the full feature list without the UK framing.

Online gambling in Great Britain is legal only with an operator licensed by the Gambling Commission, and a studio needs its own UKGC licence to supply one. Turbo Games' certifications are in other markets, and we have not found Crash X, the football edition or any other Turbo Games title in the instant-win lobby of a licensed UK casino. The sites that serve it to a British IP are offshore, typically Curacao-licensed and crypto-funded, because UK card issuers and PayPal block unlicensed gambling merchants.

That is not a comment on the game's fairness. Turbo Games publishes a provably fair hash per round and the game file is the same everywhere. It is a comment on what you lose by playing it from Britain: GAMSTOP self-exclusion does not cover offshore sites, there is no ADR body for a disputed withdrawal, and nobody at the Gambling Commission will take your complaint. Playing is not an offence for you. The UK crash games hub sets out the licensed-versus-offshore position for every game on this site, and Crash X sits firmly in the second column.

None of the three has Crash X. They are listed because they are where a British player can open a crash-style game with a debit card and a regulator behind it: Spaceman, Pragmatic Play's crash game with a 96.5% RTP and a half cash-out, on the UK Spaceman page; Plinko in several studio versions on the UK Plinko page; and Evolution's live Cash or Crash at 99.59%. Aviator's return to UK lobbies after Spribe's reinstatement is tracked on the UK Aviator page.

Predictors, hacks and the rank ladder

The predictor tail for Crash X is small because the game is small, but the ones that exist are the same product as every other crash predictor: a random number generator with a confident interface, a form that harvests your casino login, or a referral funnel. The crash point of every round is fixed by a hash before the rocket moves and shown afterwards in the fairness panel. There is nothing to read. The crash game predictors guide explains the whole category.

The rank ladder deserves its own warning because it is subtler. Bronze to Legend is measured in flights, and flights are bets. The ladder is a counter of how much edge you have paid, dressed as an achievement. If you enjoy it as a counter, fine. Do not mistake Legend for a return.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an Anthony Joshua edition of Crash X?

We could not find one. Turbo Games has released themed versions of Crash X, including a football edition in 2022, but as of our last check in October 2026 neither Turbo Games' catalogue, its press releases nor any casino lobby we searched lists an Anthony Joshua edition. If one is announced we will update this page. Most of the search volume is about the boxer's car crash, not a game.

What happened to Anthony Joshua in the car crash?

On 29 December 2025, nine days after beating Jake Paul in Miami, Joshua was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a stationary truck on a road near Lagos, Nigeria. His strength and conditioning coach Sina Ghami and trainer Latif Ayodele were killed. Joshua had minor injuries, was discharged on 31 December and returned to Britain in early January 2026. The driver was charged with dangerous driving.

What is Crash X?

Crash X is a crash game by Turbo Games, released in March 2021. A rocket climbs and a multiplier rises from 1.00x; cash out before the rocket explodes and you win your stake times the multiplier. It has two bet panels, auto bet, auto cash-out, personal flight statistics and a rank ladder. The maximum win is 1,000x the stake.

What is the RTP of Crash X?

95% in the configuration most independent trackers list, with Turbo Games quoting a range up to 97% depending on operator settings. That is two to four points below Aviator's 97% and Limbo's 99%, which over a long session is a meaningful difference. Check the info panel at the site you play, because the operator chooses the setting.

Is Crash X available at UK casinos?

We have not found it at any Gambling Commission licensed casino, and Turbo Games does not appear among the studios supplying UKGC operators' instant-win lobbies. UK players who find Crash X are on offshore sites. Spaceman and Cash or Crash are the licensed crash-style games available in Britain.

Is Crash X provably fair?

Turbo Games publishes a provably fair mechanism for Crash X, with a hash shown per round that can be checked afterwards. Fair in that sense means the operator cannot alter a round once it has started. It does not mean the game is beatable: the 3% to 5% house edge is built into the distribution of crash points.

How is Crash X different from Aviator?

Mechanically it is the same format with a rocket instead of a plane. The differences are a lower RTP (95% to 97% against 97%), a hard 1,000x cap on wins, a personal statistics panel and a rank system based on flight count, and a much smaller footprint: Aviator is at thousands of operators, Crash X at a few hundred, almost none in the UK.

Can I play Crash X for free?

Most casinos that carry it have a demo toggle, and review sites host a play-money version. The demo is the same game file with a fake balance. It will not show you anything about the odds that the RTP figure does not already tell you, but it is a reasonable way to see the interface before deciding you do not need it.
