Privacy policy

CrashGamesX is an information site. We do not take deposits, hold accounts or process payments, so the data we touch is small. This page lists all of it.

Last reviewed: October 2026.

This policy explains what personal data CrashGamesX ("we", "the site") collects, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet the EU and UK GDPR, and we apply the same standard to visitors from every country, including India (DPDP Act 2023) and Kenya (Data Protection Act 2019).

Who is responsible for your data

The site operator is the data controller for the data described here. Questions, requests and complaints go to [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject line. We do not have a separate data protection officer; the editorial team handles requests directly.

What we collect

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting records each request: your IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page, and your browser and device type. We use these logs to keep the site running, to detect abuse and to understand which pages are read. Logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics service that records page views, approximate country, device type and referrer. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you across sites, and IP addresses are truncated or hashed before storage so that individual visitors cannot be identified. Aggregated statistics are kept indefinitely; raw events are not kept beyond 30 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Contact email. If you email us, we keep your email address and the content of your message for as long as needed to deal with it, and for up to two years afterwards so we can refer back to corrections and complaints. We do not add you to any mailing list. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you, and, where you report an operator, in maintaining the accuracy of the site.

Nothing else. We do not have user accounts, newsletters, comment sections, forms that collect names or phone numbers, or any system that stores payment details. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18, and the site is not intended for them.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Our own pages may use browser storage to remember a preference such as a collapsed section, and that stays on your device.

Embedded content can set its own cookies. The game demos on our game pages are served by the providers (Spribe, InOut Games) from their own domains under their own privacy policies. We load them lazily inside a restricted frame, but we do not control what they set.

Many pages on this site contain links to gambling operators. These are affiliate links: if you follow one and register or deposit, the operator may pay us a commission. We explain this on our about page.

Here is what happens to your data when you click one. The link first goes to our own redirect address (a URL on this site beginning with /go/), which records that the click happened and which page it came from, then sends you to the operator. The redirect does not pass your name, email or any identifier we hold, because we do not hold any. From the moment you arrive at the operator's site, their privacy policy applies, not ours. Operators typically set cookies to attribute your registration to us and will collect far more data than we ever do, including identity documents and payment details. Read their policy before you register.

Our affiliate links are marked with the "sponsored" and "nofollow" attributes in the page code, and the redirect pages are excluded from search engines.

Who we share data with

Our hosting provider and our analytics provider process data on our behalf under contracts that restrict them to our instructions. Both are located in the EU or the UK, or rely on standard contractual clauses for transfers. We do not sell, rent or otherwise share personal data with operators, advertisers or data brokers. We will disclose data if required by a court order or applicable law.

Your rights

Under GDPR, and in similar terms under the data protection laws of most countries we cover, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you (access);
  • correct it if it is wrong (rectification);
  • delete it (erasure), subject to any legal duty to keep it;
  • restrict or object to our processing of it;
  • provide it in a portable format, where it was supplied by you.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within one month; since the only data we are likely to hold about an identifiable person is an email exchange, most requests are simple. You can also complain to your data protection authority: the ICO in the UK, your national supervisory authority in the EU, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Log and email data is accessible only to the editorial team, on devices with disk encryption and two-factor authentication. We keep as little as we can, which is the most effective security measure available to us.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change and note the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page for a month after they take effect.
