JetX by SmartSoft Gaming: Aviator's closest rival, with a jackpot
A boxy little jet climbs off the launch pad, the multiplier rises, and at some point it explodes. JetX has been doing this since 2019, and it is the only crash game that plays noticeably differently from Aviator.
JetX and Aviator launched within months of each other in 2019, one from SmartSoft in Tbilisi and one from Spribe a few streets away. Aviator won the popularity contest by a mile. JetX did something more interesting: it stayed different. Where almost every crash game since has been Aviator with a new sprite, JetX kept its chunky retro jet, bolted on a third bet slot, and added a progressive jackpot that no other mainstream crash title has copied. If you are bored of the plane, this is the one to try. If you have never played a crash game, Aviator is still the better first lesson, and we say why below.
What is JetX?
JetX is a multiplayer crash game by SmartSoft Gaming, a Georgian studio founded in 2015 that holds a Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence (MGA/B2B/925/2021). It launched in early 2019, got its big redesign in 2024, and picked up Best Crash Game awards in Africa (2024 and 2026), Malta, Sรฃo Paulo and Mexico along the way. SmartSoft's own figures put it in thousands of bookmaker lobbies, concentrated in Africa, Eastern Europe, the CIS and Latin America.
The round works the way every crash game works. Bets lock during a short countdown, a jet takes off, the multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs, and at a random point the jet explodes. Cash out before the explosion and your stake is multiplied by whatever was on screen. Miss it and the stake is gone.
Three things make JetX worth a page of its own:
- Three bet slots. Aviator has two. JetX lets you run three independent bets in the same round, each with its own stake and its own auto cash-out. The 2024 redesign added a fourth panel at some operators, but three is what you will find almost everywhere.
- A progressive jackpot. A slice of every stake feeds a pool displayed above the game. It drops when the jet hits a hidden multiplier, and everyone with a live bet in that round shares it.
- The look. Pixel-edged jet, a gradient sky that darkens as the multiplier rises, chunky numbers in the middle of the screen. It is deliberately retro and it ages better than Aviator's flat red plane.
RTP is 97%, certified, identical at every operator. Minimum bet is usually 0.10 in your currency and maximum 100 to 300 per slot depending on the casino. The multiplier is uncapped in theory, which means in practice it is capped by the operator's maximum win, typically 10,000 to 25,000 times stake.
How to play JetX step by step
- Open JetX from the Fast Games or Crash tab. It is rarely on a casino home page, so use the search box. At 1xBet and Melbet it lives under "Fast Games", at Betway under "Casino".
- Set a stake in one, two or three panels. Each panel is an independent bet. You can leave panels empty.
- Set auto cash-out, or do not. Each panel has its own target. Type 1.50 and that panel cashes itself out at exactly 1.50x if the jet gets there.
- Wait for the countdown. Rounds come every eight seconds or so. If you bet after the jet has launched, the bet queues for the next round.
- Cash out. Press the button on any panel to take that bet's winnings at the current multiplier. The other panels keep running.
- Or watch the jet explode. Uncashed bets are lost. The next countdown starts almost immediately.
The round interval is shorter than Aviator's. You will play roughly 400 rounds an hour if you bet every round, which is a lot of 3% edges stacked on top of one another. Keep that in mind when a session feels fast.
3.4x and climbing. Two of the three panels have already cashed out at 1.40x and 2.00x; the third is still riding.
The three bet slots, and what they do not do
Three slots feel like more control. People build little systems around them: one panel at 1.20x for "cover", one at 2x for "profit", one left open for "the big one". It is satisfying to set up and we have run it for hours.
What it does not do is change the expected return. Each panel is an independent bet with a 3% house edge. Three panels is three times the turnover and three times the expected loss. The spread of outcomes narrows, because you are rarely losing all three and rarely winning all three, but the average drifts in the same direction. Call it variance management, not strategy, and you will not be disappointed by it.
The genuinely useful thing about three slots is that they let you test two cash-out targets against each other with real money at the same time, which teaches you where your nerve actually sits faster than any amount of theory.
The progressive jackpot
This is the feature that makes JetX worth switching to for a session, and it is poorly explained almost everywhere.
A fixed share of every bet placed by every player at that operator is diverted into a pool. The pool is displayed in a banner above the game and ticks up while you watch. Hidden inside each round is a trigger multiplier. If the jet reaches it before exploding, the jackpot pays: every player who still has an uncashed bet in that round receives a share of the pool proportional to their stake. The pool resets to a seed amount and starts building again.
Three consequences follow:
- You have to be in the round to win it. Cashed-out bets do not qualify. This is the one small argument for leaving a panel open to ride.
- Big stakes get big shares. The split is proportional. A 1-unit bet in a round where 10,000 units are live gets a ten-thousandth of the pool.
- It is funded by the players. The jackpot is not SmartSoft's money or the casino's. It is part of the 3% edge handed back in lumps. The RTP figure of 97% already includes it.
How often does it drop? It depends on the trigger range the operator has configured, and nobody publishes it. From watching the counter at 1xBet and Mostbet across several months, it tends to pay somewhere between a few times a day and a few times a week per currency, usually at a multiplier north of 50x. Do not play for it. Enjoy it when it lands.

Retro visuals and the 2024 redesign
JetX looked like a Game Boy title in 2019 and SmartSoft has resisted the urge to modernise it into mush. The 2024 "new era" update made the game file 3.9 MB (it loads about 60% faster than the old build, which matters on a 3G connection in Kisumu), centred the multiplier in a much bigger typeface, added a round history graph instead of the usual coloured strip, and brought in moderated chat and a live bets panel. The jet is still a jet. The sky still goes from dawn blue to midnight as the number climbs.
We mention this because the visuals change how you play. Aviator's curve is gentle and the plane flies away rather than dying, which makes losing feel like nothing happened. JetX's explosion is abrupt. It is a small thing, but after a hundred rounds the abrupt one teaches you faster that the house edge is real.
JetX3, Cricket X, Football X and the SmartSoft family
SmartSoft has reused the JetX engine in a way Spribe never did with Aviator.
JetX3 (2022) launches three jets at once, each with its own curve, its own crash point and its own cash-out button. One round, three outcomes. It is the format for people who find one curve too slow, and it keeps the 97% RTP.
Cricket X and Football X are the same engine with a batsman or a striker instead of a jet. The multiplier climbs as the ball flies; it crashes when the catch is taken or the keeper saves. They exist for the Indian, Bangladeshi and Kenyan bookmakers where sport is the front door and the casino is behind it, and they work: Cricket X is the second most played crash game at several South Asian brands we track.
Balloon is a faster, simpler cousin with no jackpot and a 96% RTP. Pump, cash out, pop. It is our pick when a session needs to be ten minutes long.
Cappadocia, Plinko X and Mines X round out the catalogue. If a lobby has JetX it usually has all of them, filed under SmartSoft.
JetX vs Aviator
| JetX | Aviator | |
|---|---|---|
| Studio | SmartSoft Gaming | Spribe |
| Launched | 2019 | 2019 |
| RTP | 97% | 97% |
| Bets per round | 3 (4 at some operators) | 2 |
| Progressive jackpot | Yes | No |
| Fairness | Certified RNG (BMM, iTech Labs) | Provably fair, SHA-512, verifiable per round |
| Round interval | About 8 seconds | About 5 seconds plus flight |
| Live bets and chat | Yes, since 2024 | Yes, always |
| Demo | At operators | Official embeddable demo |
| Where | Bookmakers in Africa, CIS, LatAm; crypto casinos | Everywhere |
The honest summary: same edge, different texture. Aviator's per-round provably fair verification is the better system, and it matters if you want to check results yourself. JetX's jackpot and third slot are the better features if you have already made peace with the edge and want the round to be more interesting. Our usual advice is Aviator first, JetX second, and the full comparison lives on the Aviator page.

RTP and odds: what 97% means at the controls
House edge is 3%. The practical version of that figure is a table of how often the jet reaches a given multiplier against how often you would need it to break even:
| Cash-out target | Jet gets there about | You need |
|---|---|---|
| 1.30x | 74.6% | 76.9% |
| 1.50x | 64.7% | 66.7% |
| 2.00x | 48.5% | 50.0% |
| 3.00x | 32.3% | 33.3% |
| 5.00x | 19.4% | 20.0% |
| 10.00x | 9.7% | 10.0% |
| 50x | 1.9% | 2.0% |
Every row has the same gap. There is no target where the jet gets there more often than you need it to; that is what 97% means. Low targets lose slowly and predictably, high targets lose in long dry spells broken by big rounds, and the jackpot is a small refund paid out at random to people who happened to be riding.
One JetX-specific point. Because the round interval is short and three panels encourage three bets, it is easy to put ten times more money through JetX in an hour than through Aviator without noticing. The edge is identical. The turnover is not.
Betting tips that hold up
- Use auto cash-out on every panel. Reaction time at 1.50x is the biggest leak for casual players and auto cash-out removes it completely.
- Treat the three panels as three bets, not one strategy. Stake 1% of your session bankroll per panel, not per round.
- If you want to be eligible for the jackpot, leave one panel open at a high target. Accept that panel will lose most rounds. Do not raise its stake to "cover" that.
- Set a stop-loss and a stop-win, and leave at the stop-win. Everyone sets the first. The house edge gets paid by people who ignore the second.
- Do not Martingale. A run of ten losses at 2x happens about once every 1,400 rounds, which at JetX's pace is one afternoon. The eleventh bet in the sequence is 1,024 times your base stake.
Predictors, signals and hacks
SmartSoft's RNG is certified by independent labs and the crash point is fixed before the jet moves. There is no API that leaks it, no pattern in the history graph, and no Telegram "JetX signals" channel with better than random accuracy. The predictors we have looked at are random number generators dressed up as software, phishing pages asking for your 1xBet login, or funnels that ask you to register at a specific casino through the seller's link before the "signals" start. Where to play JetX
JetX is a bookmaker game first. SmartSoft's distribution goes through the big sportsbook brands in Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Latin America, plus the crypto casinos, and that shapes where you will find it: next to the football markets at a betting site more often than in a slots-first casino lobby. It is not at UK-licensed operators, and in the United States it appears only at sweepstakes and crypto sites.
Pick your country for the operators that work where you live, the payment methods they accept and the legal position:
- ๐ฎ๐ณ India1win, Mostbet, 4rabet
- ๐ต๐ฐ Pakistan1xBet, Mostbet, 1win
- ๐ง๐ฉ Bangladesh1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet
- ๐ฐ๐ช KenyaBetika, Pepeta, Odibets
Across markets, these are the five we would open an account at for JetX specifically:

11xBet
JetX, JetX3, Cricket X and Football X all in one tab; the jackpot is active in most currencies.

3Pin-Up
Weekly cashback on crash losses that applies to JetX; the retro site theme suits the game.

5Betway
The licensed option in Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia; JetX sits in the Casino tab.
Is JetX legal where I live?
The game itself is licensed by the MGA and certified for use in regulated markets including Malta, Romania, Greece, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and much of Latin America, so in those countries you will find it at licensed operators. In India, Pakistan and Bangladesh there is no licensing framework for online casino and JetX is offered by offshore bookmakers. In Great Britain it is not carried by UKGC licensees. We keep the country-by-country position on each geo page because it changes, and "it depends on your operator's licence" is the only global answer that is true.
Similar games
If the jackpot is what drew you here, Rocketman (Elbet) also runs one and is common at African bookmakers. If it was the three bet slots, nothing else offers them, but Spaceman has a partial cash-out that solves a similar problem in a different way.
Frequently asked questions
Is JetX the same as Aviator?
No, though the core idea is identical: a multiplier rises, you cash out before it stops. JetX is by SmartSoft Gaming, Aviator by Spribe. JetX gives you three bet slots instead of two, a progressive jackpot that Aviator does not have, and a jet that explodes instead of a plane that flies off. Both are 97% RTP.
What is the RTP of JetX?
97%, published by SmartSoft and the same at every casino. The house edge is therefore 3%, matching Aviator and beating Spaceman's 96.5%. You will see other figures quoted online (96.2% to 98.9%) but those are guesses; SmartSoft's certified figure is 97%.
How does the JetX jackpot work?
A small share of every bet goes into a pool that is shown above the game. When the jet reaches a hidden trigger multiplier, every player with an active uncashed bet in that round shares the pool in proportion to their stakes. It usually drops somewhere between 50x and a few hundred x. You cannot aim for it; it is a bonus for being in the round.
Can I play JetX for free?
Most casinos that carry JetX offer a demo toggle inside the game, and SmartSoft's own site has a demo for some regions. There is no official standalone demo we can embed here, which is why this page has none. Use the demo at Mostbet or 1xBet; both load without a login.
Where can I play JetX?
JetX is distributed by SmartSoft to bookmakers and casinos licensed in Curacao, Malta, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Georgia and many LatAm markets. It is not at UKGC casinos. 1xBet, Mostbet, Pin-Up, Melbet and Betway all carry it, and the country list on this page points to the operators that work where you live.
What is JetX3?
JetX3 is SmartSoft's 2022 follow-up. Three jets launch at once, each with its own multiplier and its own cash-out, so one round gives you three independent crash curves. It is louder and faster than JetX and the maths is the same 97%. Most lobbies with JetX also have JetX3.
Is there a JetX predictor or hack?
No. The crash point is set by SmartSoft's certified RNG before the jet leaves the pad and no app, Telegram bot or 'signal' can read it. Every JetX predictor we have tested is either random, a phishing page for your casino login, or a referral funnel. If it worked, the seller would not need you.
