Balloon game in India: the crash game you pump yourself, in rupees
No plane, no countdown, no other players. You hold a button, a balloon inflates, a multiplier climbs, and you let go before it pops. There are two casino games called Balloon, from SmartSoft and from Spribe, and this page covers both for Indian players: where they are, the rupee limits, UPI deposits, the demo and the law.
"Balloon game" means three different things in India, and Google serves all three on one page. There is the party game, which is why the results are full of YouTube birthday videos and lists of fifteen balloon games for kids. There is the "balloon game earning app" genre, which is colour-prediction scam software that borrowed the name. And there are two real casino games called Balloon, one from SmartSoft Gaming and one from Spribe, which is what this page is about. If you came here for the first, you want a different website. If you came here for the second, read the earning-app section before you install anything.
The casino game, in a paragraph. You set a stake, press and hold a button, and a cartoon balloon inflates while a multiplier climbs from 1.00x. Release and you are paid the stake times the number on screen. ₹100 released at 1.80x pays ₹180. Hold a fraction too long and the balloon bursts, the screen flashes, and the ₹100 is gone. Rounds last seconds, there is no countdown and no other players, and it empties a balance faster than any other crash game we play. It is also oddly good fun for ten minutes at a time.
Balloon game facts
| Provider | SmartSoft Gaming |
|---|---|
| Released | 2019 |
| RTP | 96% |
| Max win | Uncapped multiplier |
| Min bet | 0.10 |
| Type | Classic multiplier crash |
That table describes the SmartSoft version, which is the one most Indian sites carry and the one with "Balloon" and a pump button on the tile. Indian footnotes: the 0.10 minimum is ₹10 per round at 1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet and Pin-Up, with a few sites setting ₹20; maximums run from about ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 per round, and there is one bet, so the per-round and per-bet limits are the same. The 96% RTP is SmartSoft's published figure and the game lets operators run it lower, which is a caveat we come back to. Spribe's version has its own numbers, below.
Two balloon games: SmartSoft and Spribe
This is the part nobody else explains, so here it is side by side.
| Balloon by SmartSoft | Balloon by Spribe | |
|---|---|---|
| Released | June 2019 | May 2024 |
| RTP | 96%, operator-configurable down to about 95.5% | 97%, fixed |
| Control | Hold the pump button, release to cash out | Hold the heat button, release to cash out |
| Auto cash-out | Newer builds only | Yes, with auto play and stop conditions |
| Bonus | None | Green balloon triggers a bonus round with guaranteed multipliers |
| Other players | No | No |
| Fairness | Certified RNG | Provably fair, verify any round |
| Where in India | 1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet, Pin-Up (SmartSoft filter) | Sites carrying the full Spribe catalogue (Spribe filter) |
Same idea, different studios. The one on the right pays a point more and lets you check the round afterwards.
SmartSoft's is the original and the one you will find most often; it shares an engine with JetX and sits under the same filter. Spribe's arrived five years later from the studio behind Aviator, and it is the better product on paper: a fixed 97% RTP, a provably fair panel, proper auto play, and a bonus round that fires when a green balloon appears. Whether it is at your site depends on whether the operator has switched on the full Spribe catalogue; check the Spribe filter at 1win and Mostbet before assuming. If both are available, play Spribe's. The point of RTP is worth ₹10 per ₹1,000 staked, and this game stakes ₹1,000 quickly.
The balloon game demo in India
No embed here. Neither studio publishes a public Balloon demo that we can host, which is a difference from Aviator, where Spribe does. The demo exists inside the operators: open 1xBet or Mostbet, search "Balloon", and the SmartSoft tile offers "Demo" before you log in. Spribe's version has a demo toggle at the sites that carry it, after an 18+ confirmation. Same game file, play money, same RTP as the real table.
Use it for one thing: counting. Play fifty demo rounds and note how many burst under 1.50x. Most first-time players guess one in five. The real figure is closer to one in three, and in a game where the next round is one press away, that difference decides whether a ₹1,000 session lasts an hour or twelve minutes. The demo hides nothing much; there is no live feed and no jackpot to hide.
Where to play the balloon game in India
Every site below carries SmartSoft's Balloon with an INR wallet and UPI in the cashier. It is never on the home page; search "Balloon" or use the SmartSoft filter. We have deposited and withdrawn on each from a Jio connection in Pune, and the order reflects how quickly the money came back.

11xBet
SmartSoft's Balloon under Games with the SmartSoft filter, next to JetX and Cricket X; INR wallet, UPI and IMPS, demo toggle works without a login.

2Mostbet
Balloon in the Fast Games tab next to JetX; UPI and PhonePe from ₹300 and the quickest UPI withdrawals of this group for us. Check the Spribe filter too.

3Melbet
Same SmartSoft feed as 1xBet in a lighter app; Balloon loads in a few seconds on a weak Jio signal.

4Pin-Up
Carries Balloon with weekly cashback on crash losses, which takes a little of the sting out of a game this fast.
1xBet first because the SmartSoft tab there has Balloon, JetX, JetX3 and Cricket X on one screen with a demo toggle that works without a login. Mostbet's Fast Games tab is tidier and its UPI withdrawals have been the fastest of the group for us; it is also the one to check for Spribe's version. Melbet is 1xBet's sister with a lighter app, which matters for a game this fast on a slow connection. Pin-Up's cashback on crash losses applies to Balloon and is the closest thing to a safety net this game offers. Registration and the phone-number flow are on our 1xBet India page and Mostbet India page.
How to play the balloon game in rupees
- Find the game. Casino or Games tab, search "Balloon". Check the studio logo on the tile: SmartSoft or Spribe. Anything else is a copy.
- Set your stake. ₹10 is the floor at most sites, ₹20 at a few. Quick buttons offer ₹50, ₹100, ₹500 and ₹1,000. One bet per round.
- Set auto cash-out if the build has it. Spribe's version always does; SmartSoft's newer builds do. Type 1.50 and the game releases for you at exactly 1.50x. Use it. Reaction time is the biggest leak in this game.
- Press and hold. The round starts the moment you touch the button. The multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs fast.
- Watch the number, not the balloon. The balloon's size and colour are a rough guide. The number is what you are paid.
- Release to cash out, or watch it pop. Winnings land instantly. If the burst comes first, the stake is gone and the next round starts whenever you press again.
2.3x and still holding. The balloon reaches this point roughly four rounds in ten.
A worked session, because the pace is the whole story. ₹1,000 bankroll, ₹10 per round, released at 1.50x every time. At 96% RTP the balloon reaches 1.50x about 64% of the time, so you win ₹5 on 64 rounds in 100 and lose ₹10 on 36. That is ₹320 won against ₹360 lost, down ₹40 per 100 rounds. Fine. Except that 100 rounds of Balloon takes about fifteen minutes, so an hour is 400 rounds and ₹160 down in expectation, on a game where you never felt like you bet more than ₹10. Aviator at the same stake and target loses ₹30 per 100 rounds and gets through 100 rounds in an hour. The maths per round is nearly the same. The rounds per hour are not.
Why the rounds are so fast
A Balloon round has no betting window and no shared timer, because nobody else is in it. The multiplier climbs quickly, bursts under 1.50x more often than feels fair, and the next round is one press away. We counted 70 rounds in ten minutes on one session at Mostbet, roughly three times the pace of Aviator. If you want to play Balloon without that running away from you, set a round limit, not a time limit. Fifty rounds, then stop, whatever the balance says. That is the single most useful piece of advice on this page.
A Balloon round fits inside the JetX betting window.
Deposits and withdrawals: UPI, IMPS and USDT
The same rails as every crash game at these sites.
UPI
Open the cashier, choose UPI or a named wallet such as PhonePe, Paytm or Google Pay, type the amount (₹300 at 1xBet, Mostbet and Melbet, ₹500 at Pin-Up; ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh per transaction at the top), and approve in your UPI app with your PIN. Credits land within two minutes most of the time. If the status is still pending after ten, copy the UTR number from your UPI app and give it to live chat rather than paying again. The payee name will be an aggregator or an individual, not the casino, which is normal for this market and is why the UTR matters.
IMPS and USDT
IMPS at 1xBet, Melbet and Mostbet for larger amounts: account number and IFSC from the cashier, transfer from your bank app, enter the reference, ten to thirty minutes. USDT on TRC-20 is the fallback that never bounces; the 1% TDS and 30% tax on crypto gains apply to your exchange activity, not the casino.
Withdrawals
To your UPI ID, your bank account or USDT, minimums ₹500 to ₹1,000. KYC before the first withdrawal everywhere: Aadhaar or PAN photo plus a selfie. Mostbet and Melbet have paid our small UPI withdrawals within hours on weekdays; 1xBet is slower. Do the KYC on day one.
Balloon game RTP, and the number to check yourself
SmartSoft publishes Balloon at 96%, a point below JetX and Aviator, and the game is built so operators can run it lower. Listings show a range from 95.5% to 98%, and we have seen 95.5% in the information panel at one site. Spribe's version is 97% and fixed. Whichever you play, open the "i" panel inside the game at your casino and read the figure there; that is the number that applies to you, and it is the one honest reason to prefer one site over another for this game.
What 96% means in practice: the chance of the balloon reaching any multiplier is roughly 96% divided by that multiplier. About 64% of rounds make it to 1.50x, 48% to 2x, 19% to 5x and under 10% to 10x. At every release point the balloon gets there 4% less often than you would need to break even. Low targets lose slowly, high targets lose in bursts, and there is no release point that beats it. The full distribution and the comparison across the SmartSoft family are on our global Balloon page, and the mechanism every crash game shares is in how crash games work.
Balloon vs JetX vs Aviator for Indian players
| Balloon (SmartSoft) | JetX | Aviator | |
|---|---|---|---|
| RTP | 96%, configurable | 97% | 97% |
| Bets per round | 1 | 3 | 2 |
| Auto cash-out | Newer builds only | Yes | Yes |
| Jackpot | No | Progressive | No |
| Other players visible | No | Yes | Yes |
| Typical round length | 2 to 10 seconds | 10 to 60 seconds | 10 to 60 seconds |
| Indian sites | 1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet, Pin-Up | Same four plus Parimatch | All of them |
Our view: if you have ten minutes and want something that feels like a game rather than a chart, Balloon is better than it looks. For an hour, JetX gives you more to do and a better return, and Aviator gives you the live panel plus a provably fair check on every round. Balloon is the one we open last and close first, and never without a round limit.
Is the balloon game legal in India?
India has no national online gambling licence. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025, passed in August 2025, bans real-money online games offered from within India and makes it an offence to operate or advertise them. It is aimed at operators and promoters. Offshore sites licensed in Curacao, Malta or elsewhere continue to accept Indian players, settle in rupees and pay out over UPI, and that is the market this page describes.
We are not telling you to play. State law also varies, with Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu historically stricter. If you are unsure whether it is lawful where you live, the honest answer is not to play, and in every case to play only with money you can afford to lose. 18+ only.
"Balloon game earning app" and the APKs
This deserves its own section because it is most of what "balloon game" means in Indian search. The Aptoide result on the first page is an arcade game where you pop balloons and avoid bombs; it is not a casino game and pays nothing, which makes it the honest one. The "balloon game earning app" and "balloon game paytm cash" genre is something else: colour-prediction style apps and Telegram groups that borrowed the name, promise ₹500 a day, and run on referral deposits. They are not SmartSoft's game, not Spribe's game, and not a way to earn.
Neither studio publishes a standalone Balloon app. The legitimate routes on a phone are the 1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet or Pin-Up apps, downloaded as an APK from the operator's own site or from the App Store on iOS, with Balloon inside under the same tab as on the website. Or add the mobile site to your home screen as a shortcut. Our India app page covers installing a casino APK safely, and every step applies here.
Predictors, and why the colour of the balloon tells you nothing
The burst point for each round is generated before you press the button, by SmartSoft's certified RNG or by Spribe's provably fair system, which shows the hash in advance. Nothing in the app, your timing, the size of the balloon or its colour reveals it. Holding longer does not use up safe time; the decision was made before you touched anything. Any app or Telegram channel selling Balloon signals is selling random numbers, a phishing page, or a referral funnel. The India predictor page explains what the sellers actually do.
Strategy in one paragraph
No strategy beats a 96% game, and this one gives you less to work with than most: one bet, no jackpot, and often no auto cash-out. What holds up: if the build has auto cash-out, use it. Stake 1% of the session bankroll, so ₹10 on ₹1,000. Set a round limit and keep it. Do not Martingale; a run of ten losses at 2x happens about once every 1,400 rounds, which in Balloon is a single evening, and the eleventh bet in a ₹10 sequence is ₹10,240 against an ₹8,000 cap. The longer version is in our crash game strategy guide.
Responsible gambling in India
Balloon is the fastest crash game we play, and speed is the risk. A round is seconds, a loss is instant, and the next press is right there. If you notice you are pressing again before you have decided to, depositing to get back to even, or hiding it, that is the signal. iCall (9152987821) and the Vandrevala Foundation (1860 2662 345) take calls about gambling. Every site we list has deposit limits and self-exclusion in the account settings; set them before the first UPI deposit. 18+ only. The rest of the Indian crash scene is on our India crash games hub.
Frequently asked questions
What is the balloon game in casinos?
A single-player crash game. You set a stake, hold a button, and a balloon inflates while a multiplier climbs from 1.00x. Release to cash out at the multiplier shown; hold too long and the balloon bursts and the stake is lost. SmartSoft Gaming released the original in 2019 at 96% RTP. Spribe released its own Balloon in May 2024 at 97% RTP with a 'heat' button and a bonus round. Both run at Indian-facing sites.
Is the balloon game legal in India?
There is no Indian licence for it. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025 bans real-money online games offered from within India, so no Indian company can run Balloon for money. Offshore sites licensed in Curacao or Malta still accept Indian players and settle in rupees. The law targets operators and advertisers; we describe those sites for information only. Play only if it is legal where you live.
Which balloon game is the real one?
Two are real casino games: Balloon by SmartSoft Gaming, the 2019 original with a pump button, and Balloon by Spribe, the 2024 version with a heat button and a green-balloon bonus. The tile in the casino lobby shows the studio logo. Everything called 'Balloon game' on the Play Store, Aptoide or Softonic is either an arcade balloon-popping game or a wrapper around a casino link, and none of it pays rupees.
What is the RTP of the balloon game?
SmartSoft publishes its Balloon at 96%, and the game lets operators configure a lower setting, so some sites show 95.5%. Spribe's Balloon is 97% and fixed. Open the information panel inside the game at your site and read the figure there; that number is the one that applies to you. Either way the house edge is real and no release point beats it.
Is there a balloon game earning app?
No. 'Balloon game earning app' and 'balloon game paytm cash' searches lead to colour-prediction style apps and Telegram referral schemes that have borrowed the name. The casino game pays and takes rupees through a licensed-elsewhere site with a cashier and KYC, not through an APK that promises daily income. If an app says you can earn ₹500 a day popping balloons, it is the app earning, not you.
What is the minimum bet on the balloon game in India?
₹10 per round at 1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet and Pin-Up for the SmartSoft version, which is the 0.10 floor converted; a few sites set it at ₹20. Maximums run from about ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 per round. There is one bet per round, so the minimum per round and per bet are the same number.
Can I play the balloon game for free?
Yes, at the operators that carry it. 1xBet and Mostbet open SmartSoft's Balloon in demo mode without a login, and Spribe's version has a demo toggle at sites that carry it. Neither studio publishes a public embed we can host, so there is nothing to play on this page. The demo is the same game file with play money and is the right place to learn how fast the rounds are.
Is there a balloon game predictor?
No. The burst point for each round is generated before you press the button, by SmartSoft's certified RNG or Spribe's provably fair system, and nothing in the app, your timing or the colour of the balloon reveals it. Any app or Telegram channel selling Balloon signals is selling random numbers, a phishing page for your casino login, or a referral funnel. Often all three.
