Chicken Road app and APK download in India: the honest guide
InOut Games has never published a Chicken Road app. Everything called 'Chicken Road' on Google Play and Softonic is something else. This page explains what those downloads are and how to get the real game on your phone safely.
The search results for "chicken road game download" in India are a sequence of things that are not Chicken Road. Softonic's top listing is an earth-carving puzzle game from a studio called AIWORK Technologies. The Google Play result is a casual game from an unrelated developer. The Microsoft Store has a "Chicken Road 2" for Windows that has never seen a casino. Scroll far enough and you find InOut's own game page and a 1xBet landing page, which are the only two results that involve the actual game, and neither offers a download.
That is because there is nothing to download. Chicken Road is a browser game served from InOut's servers into casino lobbies. This page is about what the downloads really are, and the two legitimate ways to get the real game onto a home screen.
What the "Chicken Road" downloads actually are
The Softonic APKs. Softonic hosts at least three listings called Chicken Road or Chicken Road 2.0. We read them. One is a physics puzzle where you carve tunnels in soil. One is a hen-crossing arcade game with no money involved. None mentions InOut, a casino, a stake or a withdrawal. Softonic's own scan says they are clean, and they probably are. They are simply unrelated games that share a name.
The Google Play listings. "Chicken Roadrise", "Chicken: Fortune Road", "Chicken Cross - Play 2 Win" and a rotating cast of similar names. These are closer to the problem. They borrow the look of the casino game, show rupee amounts, and many have a withdrawal screen that asks for a UPI ID. The withdrawal target moves, the ads multiply, the payout never arrives. They are rewarded-ad games wearing the casino game's clothes. Google periodically removes them and new ones appear under new developer names.
The Telegram "Chicken Road 2 APK mod unlimited money" files. These are the ones to worry about. A real casino game cannot be modded for unlimited money because the money is on the casino's server, not in the app. Any APK promising that is either a clone or carries something you did not ask for. Do not install them.
The "Chicken Road 2 game install" tutorials on YouTube. Most walk you through installing one of the Play Store clones. A few walk you through a casino APK, which is the legitimate route, and we cover it below.
The real game on Android: casino APKs
Google Play does not list real-money gambling apps in India, so the casinos that carry Chicken Road distribute their Android apps as APK files from their own websites. The app is the casino. Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2 are games inside it, along with Aviator, Lucky Jet, Plinko and the rest.

- Open the casino's site in Chrome. Through our links below, or by typing the address. Not through a Telegram link, not through a download portal.
- Find the app link. Usually a phone icon in the top bar or a footer link called "App" or "Download". 1win and Mostbet put it on the home page; 1xBet buries it under Mobile applications.
- Download the APK. It is 20 to 80 MB. Chrome will warn that this file type can harm your device. That is a generic warning for every APK and not a verdict on this one.
- Allow the install for Chrome only. Android asks whether to allow Chrome to install unknown apps. Allow it for this one app. Keep Google Play Protect on; a real casino APK installs fine with it enabled.
- Install, open, log in. Chicken Road is under Fast Games at 1win, Casino then Crash at Mostbet, and in the lobby search everywhere.
Before you install, three checks. The download should come from the casino's own domain, the same one you are logged into. The file size should match what the site states. And the app, once open, should show the same account and balance as the website. If any of those fail, delete it.
A guide that tells you to turn off Play Protect is telling you to lower your guard for its own reasons. We have installed every APK on this page with Play Protect on and none was blocked.
The real game on iPhone: the home-screen method
iOS does not allow sideloading, and App Store listings for these casinos come and go by region. The method that always works is the web app.

Open the casino in Safari (it has to be Safari, not Chrome, for this to work), log in, tap the Share button at the bottom, scroll the lower row and tap Add to Home Screen. Name it whatever you like. The icon opens the site without the Safari address bar, keeps you logged in, and Chicken Road plays exactly as it does on Android. Mostbet and 1xBet do have App Store apps that appear and vanish in the Indian store; if you see one, it is fine, and if you do not, the home-screen version is identical in practice.
Which casino apps include Chicken Road
All five below carry the real InOut game inside their Android app and work as a home-screen app on iOS. Our India editor has deposited by UPI and withdrawn from each.

11win
Android APK from the official site; Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2 under Fast Games; iOS via home-screen web app.

2Mostbet
Android APK plus a listed iOS app in some regions; Chicken Road under Casino > Crash.

31xBet
APK from the site, iOS app regionally listed; direct Chicken Road game page inside the app.
Once the app is installed, the game is the same file you get in a browser: same four difficulty levels, same 98% RTP, same provably fair check. The app adds nothing to the odds. What it adds is a persistent login, push notifications about promotions you may or may not want, and slightly faster loading on a weak connection. If you would rather not install anything, the browser version is not a lesser experience.
Does the game itself need an app?
No, and this is worth saying plainly because the search volume suggests a lot of people think otherwise. Chicken Road is HTML5. It loads in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and whatever Jio's browser is called this year. It works on a four-year-old Redmi. It uses less data than a YouTube short. The reason "download" is attached to the game's name in search is that the clones trained people to expect an install, not that one is required.
If you want to try the game right now with no account and nothing installed, the demo is on our Chicken Road India page, which also has the difficulty table, the UPI banking steps and the full explanation of the clone apps. For Aviator, which has the same no-official-app situation and the same cloud of fake apps, see the Aviator India page.
A last word on the earning apps
We get the appeal. A free app that pays ₹5,000 for playing a chicken game is a good deal if it is real. It is not real. Nobody we have spoken to, in any Telegram group or comment section, has received a withdrawal from a Play Store "Chicken Road earning app". The only way to win money from Chicken Road is at a casino, with a deposit, against a 2% house edge that wins over time. That is a worse story than the one the clones tell. It is the true one.
Play only if it is legal where you live, and with money you can afford to lose. iCall (9152987821) and the Vandrevala Foundation (1860 2662 345) are free if gambling has stopped being fun. 18+ only.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an official Chicken Road app?
No. InOut Games, the studio behind Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2, does not publish a standalone app on Google Play, the App Store or anywhere else. The game is HTML5 and runs in a phone browser or inside a casino's own app. Any listing called Chicken Road on an app store is from an unrelated developer.
What is the Chicken Road app on Google Play then?
A casual game by a developer with no connection to InOut. The listings change names often (Chicken Roadrise, Chicken: Fortune Road, Chicken Cross - Play 2 Win) and are funded by rewarded ads. Many show a withdrawal screen that never pays. They are not scam versions of the casino game; they are different games using its name to catch searches.
How do I download Chicken Road 2?
You do not download it. Chicken Road 2 is InOut's 2025 sequel and it runs inside casinos exactly like the original. Open a casino that carries it (1win, 1xBet, Mostbet, Melbet) in your browser or in that casino's app and search 'chicken road 2' in the lobby. The 'Chicken Road 2' APKs on Softonic and Telegram are not it.
Is the Chicken Road APK safe?
Only if it is a casino's own APK downloaded from that casino's domain. 1win, Mostbet, 1xBet and 4rabet all distribute Android apps this way because Google Play does not list real-money gambling in India. Any 'Chicken Road APK' from a file-sharing site, Telegram or a download portal is at best a repackaged clone and at worst malware.
Can I play Chicken Road on iPhone?
Yes, in Safari. Open the casino, log in, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. You get an icon that opens the site full-screen like an app. Some casinos (Mostbet, 1xBet) also have App Store listings in certain regions, but availability in India changes and the home-screen method always works.
Do I need to allow unknown sources to install a casino APK?
Yes, for the one app you are installing. Android asks you to allow installs from Chrome (or your file manager) for that specific app. Allow it, install, and the permission does not need to stay on. Do not disable Google Play Protect, whatever a guide tells you; a legitimate casino APK installs with Play Protect enabled.
Why does Google Play not have the real Chicken Road?
Google Play only allows real-money gambling apps in countries with a licensing framework the developer can prove compliance with. India has no such framework, and the 2025 Act bans real-money gaming offered from within India, so no casino can list there. That vacuum is what the clone apps fill.
