Spaceman game in India: the crash game with a half-way out, in rupees
Spaceman is Pragmatic Play's crash game, and the only mainstream one that lets you bank half a bet mid-round. It is thinner on the ground in India than Aviator or JetX, so this page covers where it actually is, how the partial cash-out works with rupee numbers, UPI deposits, the demo and the legal position.
Type "spaceman" into Google from India and you get Adam Sandler. The 2024 Netflix film owns the keyword, and the game only appears once you add "game" or "casino" to it, which is why the search volume figure for Spaceman in India overstates how many people are actually looking for Pragmatic Play's crash game. Those who are tend to have come from a regulated casino abroad, or from a Pragmatic slot lobby, and want to know two things: where it is in India, and how the 50% cash-out works. Both answers are below, in rupees.
The one-paragraph version. An astronaut lifts off, a multiplier climbs from 1.00x, and at a random moment he spins off into the dark. Cash out before that and your stake is multiplied. ₹100 cashed out at 2.10x pays ₹210. Miss it and the ₹100 is gone. What makes Spaceman different from Aviator is a second button that cashes out half your stake and leaves the other half riding, and a 96.5% RTP that is half a point worse than Aviator's. The rest of the page is about living with those two facts.
Spaceman game facts
| Provider | Pragmatic Play |
|---|---|
| Released | March 2022 |
| RTP | 96.5% |
| Max win | 5,000x |
| Min bet | 0.10 |
| Type | Classic multiplier crash |
The Indian footnotes. The 0.10 minimum is ₹10 at 1xBet's INR version and at Parimatch, with a cap of about ₹8,000 per round; the "1 to 100" bet range quoted on European review sites is Pragmatic Play's regulated-market setting, not what you will see here. There is one bet panel, so the minimum per round and the minimum per bet are the same number. The 5,000x cap is where the multiplier stops climbing even if the astronaut keeps floating; at a ₹100 bet that is ₹5 lakh, before the operator's own maximum payout, which at 1xBet is lower. The 96.5% RTP is fixed by Pragmatic Play and no site can adjust it.
The Spaceman demo in India
No embed here, because Pragmatic Play does not publish a demo we can host the way Spribe does for Aviator. The demo exists and it is a tap away: open 1xBet or Parimatch, search "Spaceman", and the tile offers "Demo" before you log in. Pragmatic Play's own site also hosts a demo that loads from India in our tests. It is the same game file with a play-money balance and the same 96.5% RTP.
Use the demo for the 50% button, nothing else. Set a ₹200 stake, press 50% at around 1.50x, and watch what happens to the second half over twenty rounds. You will learn in three minutes what takes most players a week of real money: that the banked half makes you braver with the riding half, and that bravery is exactly what the house edge is waiting for. The demo hides two things. The daily tournament, which runs only on real-money tables, and the live results of other players, which are blank without real players in the round.
Where to play Spaceman in India
This list is shorter than the one on our Aviator page, and we would rather tell you why than pad it. Spaceman is a Pragmatic Play title, and Pragmatic Play's distribution in India runs through the big international bookmakers rather than the India-first brands. Mostbet, 4rabet, 1win and Batery do not carry it at the time of writing. 1xBet and Parimatch do, with INR wallets and UPI. Stake carries it for players who are comfortable moving USDT.

11xBet
Spaceman in the Pragmatic Play section of Fast Games, INR wallet, UPI and IMPS; the stats panel works fine on mobile data.

2Parimatch
Spaceman under Instant Games in the best app of the three; KYC asked for at signup, UPI and IMPS.

3Stake
Crypto only, so USDT in and out. Spaceman sits next to Stake's own Crash and Limbo, which is useful for comparing the maths.
1xBet is first because it is the only one of the three where Spaceman, Aviator, JetX and sixty other crash titles sit in the same lobby, which matters if you want to compare them with the same balance. Its interface fights you; search "Spaceman" rather than scrolling. Parimatch has the better app and the cleaner statistics panel on a small screen, but it asks for Aadhaar and PAN at signup rather than at first withdrawal. Stake is the crypto route: no UPI, no INR, but a Spaceman table that never goes offline and Stake's own Crash and Limbo next to it for comparison. Our 1xBet India page covers registration and the phone-number flow, and everything there applies to Spaceman too.
How to play Spaceman in rupees
- Find the game. Casino or Fast Games tab, then search "Spaceman". The tile carries the Pragmatic Play logo. If it says anything else, it is a copy.
- Set your stake during the countdown. A ten-second timer runs between rounds. ₹10 is the floor; the quick buttons usually offer ₹50, ₹100, ₹500 and ₹1,000. Bets placed after launch queue for the next round.
- Optionally set an auto cash-out. Type 2.00 and the whole bet is cashed out at 2.00x if the round gets there.
- Optionally set a 50% auto cash-out. A second field. Type 1.40 and half the stake is banked at 1.40x automatically, leaving the other half riding toward your main target.
- Watch the astronaut, press the buttons. "Cash out" takes everything that is still in play. "50%" takes half of what is still in play and leaves the rest. Both pay instantly.
- Or watch him tumble. Whatever is still riding when the astronaut crashes is lost. The next countdown starts in a few seconds.
Two buttons, not one. The 50% button is the entire reason to play this game instead of Aviator.
Spaceman plays slower and quieter than JetX and a little slower than Aviator. Rounds launch about every seven seconds, nothing explodes, and the palette is soft purple. It was designed to sit next to Sweet Bonanza in a regulated European lobby without frightening anyone, and it shows.
The 50% cash-out, with a ₹200 example
This is the feature that justifies the page, so here it is slowly.
You bet ₹200. The astronaut launches. At 1.50x you press the 50% button. Half the stake, ₹100, is cashed out at 1.50x and ₹150 lands in your balance immediately. The other ₹100 is still in the round. Now one of two things happens. The astronaut reaches 3.00x and you cash out the rest: ₹300 more, for a round total of ₹450 on a ₹200 stake. Or the astronaut crashes at 2.20x before you press anything: the riding ₹100 is lost, but you keep the ₹150 already banked, and the round has cost you ₹50 net instead of ₹200.
The split. ₹150 is safe the moment you press the button; the other ₹100 is on its own.
What it does not do is change the expected return. Each half is a bet with a 3.5% house edge. Banking half at 1.50x and riding half to 3.00x has exactly the same average as betting ₹100 at 1.50x and ₹100 at 3.00x in separate rounds, which is what JetX players do with two panels and Aviator players do with two panels. The difference is psychological and it cuts both ways. A banked ₹150 makes a losing round feel like a small loss, which is accurate. It also makes you leave the riding half in longer than you would have if it were the whole stake, which is how most of our Spaceman losses have actually happened.

The honest use of the feature: set the 50% auto cash-out to a low target such as 1.30x or 1.40x before the round, set the main auto cash-out to your real target, and never touch either button by hand. Then it is a two-target system with no reaction time in it. That is the best version of Spaceman, and it is still a 96.5% game.
Deposits and withdrawals: UPI, IMPS and USDT
The money side is the same as for every crash game at these sites, so the short version.
UPI
Open the cashier, choose UPI or a named wallet such as PhonePe or Paytm, type the amount (₹300 minimum at 1xBet, ₹500 at Parimatch, maximums of ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh per transaction), and approve the request in your UPI app with your PIN. Credits land within two minutes most of the time. If the status is still pending after ten, copy the UTR number from your UPI app and give it to live chat rather than paying again. The payee name will be an aggregator or an individual, not the casino; this is normal for the offshore market and is why the UTR matters.
IMPS
Offered at 1xBet and Parimatch for larger amounts. The site shows an account number and IFSC, you transfer from your bank app and enter the reference. Ten to thirty minutes, and copy the account fresh each time because it changes.
USDT
The route for Stake and the fallback at the others. Buy USDT on an Indian exchange, send it to the TRC-20 address shown, and the balance credits in minutes. The 1% TDS and 30% tax on crypto gains apply to your exchange activity. For most players UPI is simpler.
Withdrawals
Back to your UPI ID, your bank account or USDT, with minimums of ₹500 to ₹1,000. KYC, meaning an Aadhaar or PAN photo and a selfie, is required before the first withdrawal at 1xBet and at signup at Parimatch. 1xBet has paid our small UPI withdrawals within a day; it sometimes asks for a second document on larger amounts. Do the KYC early.
Spaceman RTP and odds in short
RTP is 96.5%, house edge 3.5%. The chance of the astronaut reaching any multiplier is roughly 96.5% divided by that multiplier: about 64% of rounds reach 1.50x, 48% reach 2x, 19% reach 5x and 9.6% reach 10x. At every target the astronaut gets there a little less often than you would need to break even, and the gap is half a point wider than in Aviator or JetX. Over ₹10,000 of turnover that is ₹350 to the house instead of ₹300. Not dramatic per round; real over a month. The full distribution and the statistics panel are on our global Spaceman page.
Spaceman vs Aviator vs JetX in India
| Spaceman | Aviator | JetX | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | Pragmatic Play | Spribe | SmartSoft |
| RTP | 96.5% | 97% | 97% |
| Bets per round | 1 | 2 | 3 |
| Partial cash-out | Yes, 50% | No | No |
| Max multiplier | 5,000x | Uncapped | Uncapped, plus jackpot |
| Indian sites that carry it | 1xBet, Parimatch, Stake | All of them | 1xBet, Mostbet, Parimatch, Pin-Up, Melbet |
| Minimum bet in INR | ₹10 | ₹10 | ₹10 |
Our view for an Indian player: Aviator is the better game on maths and availability, and the provably fair panel lets you check any round yourself. Spaceman is the better game on features, because the 50% button genuinely solves the "take some, leave some" problem that two panels only approximate. If you can get Aviator, play Aviator. If you are already at 1xBet or Parimatch and want a slower, calmer session, Spaceman is a reasonable way to spend it.
Is Spaceman legal in India?
India has no national online gambling licence. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025, passed in August 2025, bans real-money online games offered from within India and makes it an offence to operate or advertise them. It is aimed at operators and promoters. Offshore sites licensed in Curacao, Malta or elsewhere continue to accept Indian players, settle in rupees and pay out over UPI, and that is the market this page describes.
Pragmatic Play itself holds licences in the UK, Malta, Italy, Spain and a long list of regulated markets, which is why Spaceman is the crash game you find at licensed European casinos. None of those licences cover India. We are not telling you to play. If you are unsure whether it is lawful in your state, the honest answer is not to, and in all cases to play only with money you can afford to lose. 18+ only.
The Spaceman app, and the apps that are not it
Pragmatic Play does not publish a standalone Spaceman app. The Play Store result for "spaceman game" in India is an arcade game by an unrelated developer, and the Steam result is a different game again. Nothing you can download from a store is the crash game.
The legitimate routes are the 1xBet and Parimatch apps, downloaded as an APK from the operator's own site or from the App Store on iOS, with Spaceman inside under the same tab as on the website. Or add the mobile site to your home screen and it behaves like an app with nothing to install. Our India app page covers enabling unknown sources and installing a casino APK safely; the steps do not change for Spaceman.
Predictors, and the three strategies the search results sell
Two of the three content pages ranking for "spaceman game" in India sell a strategy, and one of them claims a predictor tool with "almost 100% accuracy" two paragraphs after saying the game is RNG-driven. So, plainly. The crash point is generated by Pragmatic Play's certified RNG before the astronaut launches and shown as a hash you can verify afterwards. No app can read the next value. The India predictor page explains what the Telegram sellers actually do, and it is the same for Spaceman.
The strategies, briefly. "Double bet", one large early cash-out and one small long shot, is just the 50% button done by hand across two rounds. "Early cash-out", bigger stakes at low multipliers, loses slowly rather than quickly; the 3.5% is unchanged. "Stats-based", waiting for a run of low rounds and then betting, assumes the game has a memory. It does not. Martingale, which one page recommends and another warns against, needs ₹10,240 on the eleventh bet of a ₹10 sequence and the ₹8,000 table cap stops you first. Set the two auto cash-outs, stake 1% to 2% of the session, leave at your take-profit. The longer version with rupee examples is in our crash game strategy guide.
Responsible gambling in India
Spaceman is slower than JetX and the 50% button makes losses feel smaller than they are, which is a combination that keeps people at the table longer. If you notice you are depositing to get back to even or leaving the riding half in longer each round, that is the signal. iCall (9152987821) and the Vandrevala Foundation (1860 2662 345) take calls about gambling. Both sites we list have deposit limits and self-exclusion in the account settings. Set the limit before the first UPI deposit. 18+ only. The rest of the Indian crash scene, including the games that are easier to find here, is on our India crash games hub.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Spaceman game?
Spaceman is a crash game by Pragmatic Play, released in March 2022. An astronaut floats upward, a multiplier climbs from 1.00x, and at a random moment he tumbles away. Cash out before that and you win your stake times the multiplier. It has one bet per round, a 96.5% RTP, a 5,000x cap and a 50% cash-out button that banks half the bet while the other half keeps riding.
Is Spaceman legal in India?
There is no Indian licence for it. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025 bans real-money online games offered from within India, so no Indian company can run Spaceman for money. Offshore sites licensed in Curacao or Malta still accept Indian players and settle in rupees. The law targets operators and advertisers; we describe those sites for information only. Play only if it is legal where you live.
How does the 50% cash-out work in Spaceman?
During a round, press the 50% button and half your stake is cashed out at the current multiplier and paid immediately. The other half stays in play until you cash it out or the astronaut crashes. You can also set an automatic 50% cash-out multiplier before the round starts. With a ₹200 bet, pressing it at 1.50x banks ₹150 and leaves ₹100 riding.
What is the RTP of Spaceman?
96.5%, which gives a house edge of 3.5%. Pragmatic Play publishes the figure and it does not change by casino. It is half a point worse than Aviator and JetX at 97% and a point and a half worse than Chicken Road at 98%. The partial cash-out does not change it; it changes the shape of your results, not the average.
Where can I play Spaceman in India?
At 1xBet and Parimatch, which carry the Pragmatic Play catalogue with INR wallets and UPI, and at Stake if you are comfortable with USDT. Mostbet, 4rabet and 1win do not carry it at the time of writing, which is why the 'where to play' list here is shorter than on our Aviator page. Search 'Spaceman' in the casino lobby; it is never on the home screen.
What is the minimum bet on Spaceman in India?
₹10 at 1xBet's INR version, with a maximum of around ₹8,000 per round. Parimatch is similar. In regulated European markets Pragmatic Play sets the floor at 1 unit, so you will see '1 to 100' quoted on review sites; that is not the Indian figure. There is only one bet panel, so the minimum per round is the minimum per bet.
Is there a Spaceman app for India?
No. Pragmatic Play does not publish a standalone Spaceman app, and anything in a third-party store called 'Spaceman game' is either an unrelated arcade game or a wrapper around a casino link. The legitimate route is the 1xBet or Parimatch app downloaded from the operator's own site, or the mobile website added to your home screen.
Can I predict the Spaceman game?
No. The crash point is generated by Pragmatic Play's certified RNG before the astronaut launches and shown as a hash you can check afterwards. No app, Telegram channel or 'signal' can read the next value. Spaceman predictors are rarer than Aviator ones because the game is rarer in India, but the ones that exist are the same thing: random numbers, phishing, or a referral funnel.
