Spribe: the studio that made crash a category
Founded in 2018, Aviator in 2019, 4,000-plus operators by 2026. Here is what Spribe actually is, what it makes and why its licences matter to you.
Spribe is a games studio founded in 2018 with teams in Tbilisi and Kyiv. In early 2019 it released Aviator, a multiplayer crash game with a small red plane, two bet panels and a provably fair panel that let anyone recompute a round. Within three years it was the most-played casino game in Kenya, the most-searched in India and Pakistan, and the reason regulators from Ontario to Bucharest had to decide what a "crash game" even was. Crash existed before Spribe. Bustabit was running the same idea on Bitcoin in 2014. Spribe is the company that got it out of the crypto bubble and into bookmakers.
Licences
This is the part that matters most to players, and the part Spribe has spent the most money on. The studio holds a UK Gambling Commission remote gambling software licence, a Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence, Ontario's AGCO registration, and certification or approval in Romania, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Peru, Panama, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria and a growing list of others. Around twenty jurisdictions at the last count we trust.
The practical consequence is that Aviator is one game file. The 97% RTP you get at a UKGC casino is the 97% you get at Betika in Nairobi and at 1win in Pune. The operator cannot lower it. Many slot studios let operators pick from several RTP builds; Spribe does not, and that single decision is a large part of why we recommend Aviator to beginners over any clone.
The games
Aviator is the flagship and, by reach, the biggest casino game of the decade. Two bets per round, auto cash-out, auto bet, a live bets feed, chat, rain promos and a fairness panel that exposes the seeds. It has barely changed since 2019, which we count as both a strength and a mild frustration.
Plinko and Mines are the two Spribe instant games you will see in every crash lobby. Plinko lets you pick 8 to 16 rows and a risk level; Mines gives you a 5x5 grid and 1 to 24 mines. Both are 97% RTP, both provably fair, both faster to lose on than Aviator because there is no shared timer.
The rest of the portfolio, marketed as Turbo Games (not the Estonian studio of the same name), is Dice, Goal, Hi-Lo, Keno, Mini Roulette, Hotline and a few multiplayer titles. They are fine. None of them is why anyone signs up.
What sets Spribe apart
Reach, first. More than 4,000 operators carry Aviator, which means that whatever country you are in, someone established has it. No other crash provider comes close. Second, the fairness model: three client seeds from real players plus a server seed, SHA-512, hash published before the round. It is the version of provably fair that regulators have accepted, and it is why "is Aviator rigged" has a clear answer. Third, the marketing: Spribe signed UFC and a string of football sponsorships, and the Aviator brand is now bigger than the studio's.
Where it falls short: innovation. JetX added a jackpot, Spaceman added partial cash-out, Aviatrix added progression, and Chicken Road invented a format. Spribe has answered with none of these. The game is still excellent. It is just no longer the most interesting one.
Where you find Spribe games
Everywhere, in the literal sense. Licensed markets: bet365, Betway, 888 and most UKGC and MGA operators; Betika, SportPesa and Odibets in Kenya; Betway and Hollywoodbets in South Africa. Offshore markets: 1win, Mostbet, 1xBet, Melbet, Parimatch and essentially every brand serving India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Each of our country pages lists the local operators we have withdrawn from, with timings.
Frequently asked questions
Is Spribe licensed?
Yes, widely. Spribe holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, a Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence, Ontario (AGCO) approval, Romania's ONJN and roughly twenty other certifications including Greece, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria. That is why Aviator is the same game at a UKGC casino and at a Kenyan bookmaker.
What games does Spribe make?
Aviator is the flagship. The rest of the portfolio, marketed as Turbo Games, is Plinko, Mines, Dice, Goal, Hi-Lo, Keno, Mini Roulette and Hotline, plus a Chicken-style title and a few multiplayer games. Everything is provably fair and runs in a browser. We cover Aviator, Plinko and Mines in full.
Can a casino change Aviator's RTP?
No. Spribe fixes Aviator at 97% and ships one game file to every operator. The crash point for each round is generated from a server seed and three player seeds, hashed before the round starts, so neither the operator nor Spribe can alter a result after bets are placed.
