JetX in Kenya: the crash game to try once Aviator gets boring

About 2,000 Kenyans a month search for JetX, roughly what Betika Aviator gets before lunch. The ones who find it tend to stay, because it is the only crash game on Kenyan sites that plays differently. Here is where it is, what it costs in shillings and how it compares.

JetX arrived on Kenyan sites a couple of years after Aviator and never caught it, and the search numbers say so: around 2,000 a month against six figures for the plane. That is not a verdict on the game. It is a verdict on Betika, which put Aviator in its top bar in 2021 and still does not list JetX on the Kenyan site. The bookmakers that do carry it, Pepeta, SportPesa, Betway, BongoBongo and lately Odibets and Bangbet, tend to treat it as the second tile, and that is where most Kenyans meet it: after a few hundred rounds of Aviator, wondering what the jet next door does differently.

The answer is three things. A third bet slot, a progressive jackpot that no other mainstream crash game has copied, and a look that is deliberately retro rather than flat. The maths underneath is the same 97% as Aviator, which means the Kenyan taxes bite it the same way. This is the Kenya version of our global JetX page: shillings, M-Pesa, licences, and the brands you can actually log in to.

JetX round in progress with the jet climbing and the multiplier rising A JetX round at around 3x. The three bet slots sit below the jet; the jackpot banner sits above it at operators that run one.

SmartSoft Gaming, a Georgian studio with a Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence, released JetX in 2019. It has picked up Best Crash Game awards in Africa in 2024 and again in 2026, which tells you where its players are. The 2024 redesign gave it a cleaner mobile layout and, at some operators, a fourth bet panel, but three slots is what you will find on Kenyan sites. The round takes about eight seconds from launch to a typical explosion, slightly quicker than Aviator, and some operators run a Turbo mode that shortens it further and requires a manual cash-out.

Certified RTP is 97%, fixed in the game file. Kenyan bookmakers cannot adjust it. Minimum stake per slot is operator-dependent, from KSh 1 at the lightest sites to KSh 20 at others; maximum per slot is usually a few thousand shillings; and the multiplier is uncapped in theory and capped in practice by the operator's maximum win per round.

Where to play JetX in Kenya

The game is identical at every licensed operator, so the choice comes down to deposits, the wallet setup and whether JetX is one tap away or buried.

A few notes the rows do not have room for. Pepeta is the only Kenyan brand that treats JetX as a headline game rather than a filler; it sits beside Aviator above the fold, draws from the same balance, and the STK-push deposit means you never type a paybill. SportPesa has the oldest licence in the list and runs the SmartSoft prize drops from time to time, but you have to move money from the main wallet to the casino wallet before a bet is accepted, which catches first-timers every week. Betway puts JetX in a crash games row with Aviator and Spaceman, and is the one Kenyan brand on our list where all three live in the same lobby. BongoBongo's draw is the low floor. Odibets added JetX in early 2025 alongside Aviatrix, and Bangbet pushes the game hard in its marketing; we have not finished testing withdrawals at either for JetX specifically, so they sit in prose rather than the table for now.

Kwikbet also lists JetX on a Kenyan licence. We mention it because it ranks for the search; we have not used it enough to recommend it.

How to play JetX with KSh examples

If you have played Aviator the only new thing is the third slot. If you have not, here is the whole round.

  1. Open JetX from your bookmaker's menu. Home page at Pepeta, Casino at SportPesa and Betway, Crash or Games elsewhere. The game loads in a frame in a few seconds on 4G.
  2. Set a stake in one, two or three slots. Say KSh 20 in slot one with auto cash-out at 1.5x, KSh 10 in slot two at 3x, slot three empty. Each slot is its own bet with its own stake and its own cash-out, and you can use one slot only.
  3. Tap Bet before the countdown ends. The window is a few seconds. Miss it and the bet queues for the next round.
  4. Watch the multiplier climb from 1.00x. The jet lifts off and the sky darkens as the number rises. The curve is exponential, so 2x to 4x goes by faster than 1x to 2x.
  5. Cash out, or let the auto setting do it. On the KSh 20 slot at 1.5x you are paid KSh 30. If the jet reaches 3x the second slot pays KSh 30 too. If it explodes at 1.3x, both stakes are gone and the next round starts.

Auto bet repeats the same stake every round and auto cash-out settles it at your target; together they are a bot the game lets you run openly, because it changes nothing about the expected return. Use auto cash-out regardless. Reaction time at 2x is about a quarter of a second and a Safaricom connection in traffic adds more.

The three slots, and what they do not do

People build systems around three slots: one "cover" bet at 1.2x, one "profit" bet at 2x, one left to ride for the jackpot. It is satisfying to set up and we have run it for hours. What it does not do is change the maths. Each slot is an independent bet with a 3% house edge. Three slots is three times the turnover and three times the expected loss per round. The spread of outcomes narrows, because you rarely lose all three and rarely win all three, but the average drifts the same way.

In Kenya there is one extra wrinkle, covered in the tax section: withholding comes off each net win, so a slot that cashes out at 1.2x hands less to KRA per winning round than one riding to 20x. If you are going to use three slots, two low ones and one rider is the least expensive arrangement, not because it wins but because it loses slowly.

The progressive jackpot

The progressive jackpot counter shown above the JetX game area The pool is built from a slice of every stake at that operator. It is the players' money, handed back in lumps.

This is the feature that makes JetX worth a session, and the one Kenyan sites explain worst. A fixed share of every bet placed by every player at that operator goes into a pool displayed above the game. Each round carries a hidden trigger multiplier. If the jet reaches it before exploding, the jackpot pays: every player with an uncashed bet in that round gets a share of the pool in proportion to their stake, and the pool resets to a seed amount.

Three things follow. You have to be in the round to win it, so a cashed-out bet does not qualify, which is the only real argument for leaving one slot open. Big stakes get big shares; a KSh 10 bet in a round with KSh 50,000 live gets a five-thousandth of the pool. And the pool is funded by players, not by SmartSoft or the bookmaker, so the 97% RTP already includes it. How often it drops depends on how the operator has configured the trigger range, and nobody publishes that. On the Kenyan sites we watch, the pool is smaller than at the big international operators because the player base is smaller, and it tends to pay at a multiplier well above 50x. Do not play for it. Enjoy it if it lands.

Playing the JetX demo

JetX has no embeddable public demo the way Aviator does, so there is nothing to play on this page. What there is: a Practice or Demo toggle inside the game at most Kenyan operators, which loads the same build with play money, and SmartSoft's own demo on its site, which runs in any phone browser.

Use it the way you would use the Aviator demo. Watch twenty rounds without betting and count how many explode under 1.5x. It is more than you expect, and that one observation is worth more than any strategy video. What the demo hides is also worth knowing: the jackpot pool does not build from play money, the live bets list is thin, and the Kenyan taxes do not apply to shillings that do not exist. A demo win of KSh 2,000 at 3x would have been about KSh 1,730 in M-Pesa for real.

Deposits and withdrawals with M-Pesa

JetX draws from the same bookmaker balance as everything else, so the deposit flow is the one you already know.

  1. From the site or app: tap Deposit, type an amount, and approve the M-Pesa prompt that arrives on your phone with your PIN. Pepeta, Betway and Odibets work this way by default. Funds usually show within a minute.
  2. From the M-Pesa menu: Lipa na M-Pesa, Pay Bill, the bookmaker's paybill from its deposit page, your registered phone number as the account, the amount, your PIN. SportPesa's paybills are 955100 and 5212121; Betika is 290290 if you are there for Aviator. Pay from the registered line, because the deposit is matched to it.
  3. At SportPesa only: move the money from the sports wallet to the casino wallet before opening JetX. The game will not accept a bet from the main wallet, and winnings go back to the casino wallet.

Withdrawals go to the M-Pesa number on the account and nowhere else. Minimums are low, KSh 50 to KSh 200 depending on the brand, and the licensed Kenyan operators generally pay within minutes outside peak hours, with first withdrawals on new accounts and Sunday afternoons slower. Airtel Money works at most of them; bank cards at a few. The Kenya hub has the per-brand paybills and our withdrawal-time log.

The two taxes, on a JetX round

Kenya taxes both ends. Since the Finance Act 2025, excise duty is 5% on each deposit, so KSh 1,000 paid to a paybill arrives as KSh 950 in your balance. Winnings carry 20% withholding tax on the net win, payout minus stake, deducted by the bookmaker before the money reaches you.

Take a KSh 100 stake in one JetX slot, cashed out at 3x. Gross KSh 300, net win KSh 200, withholding KSh 40, you receive KSh 260. Your 3x paid 2.6x. Now the same KSh 100 split across three slots at 1.5x, 2x and 3x, all of which happen to land: gross KSh 216.67, net win KSh 116.67, withholding about KSh 23, you receive about KSh 193. The maths is identical to Aviator's and the practical effect is the same: the 3% house edge is the smallest of three deductions on a Kenyan session. You never file anything with KRA; the bookmaker deducts it all.

JetX vs Aviator for a Kenyan player

JetX and Aviator game screens side by side

Same RTP, same type of round, same taxes. The differences are real but small, and they cut both ways.

JetX gives you a third slot, a jackpot, a faster round and a visual style that ages better than Aviator's flat red plane. It also has a smaller Kenyan community, which means a quieter chat with fewer signal sellers, and a jackpot pool that builds slowly because fewer people are feeding it. Aviator gives you the busier lobby, the provably fair panel where you can verify every round's seeds yourself (JetX uses a certified RNG without round-by-round verification), the free-bet rains at Betika and WinPesa, and the fact that it is on every site including the ones with the fastest withdrawals.

Our view: learn on Aviator, because the two-slot layout and the live bets panel teach the game faster, then move to JetX when the plane gets boring. Most Kenyans who try JetX keep both. The Kenya Aviator page has the plane in the same detail as this page has the jet.

Strategy, briefly

Nothing beats 97%, and in Kenya nothing beats the taxes either. What helps: auto cash-out set before you bet, a stake of 1% to 2% of the session money (KSh 10 rounds on KSh 500), a stop-loss and a stop-win, and withdrawing to M-Pesa the moment you hit either. What does not help: Martingale, which at KSh 10 reaches KSh 10,240 on the eleventh bet after ten losses, a run that at a 2x target arrives about once every 1,400 rounds; the "fixed income" 1.25x grind that affiliate pages recommend, which loses the same 3% in smaller, more frequent pieces; and anything sold as a signal. The crash game strategy guide has the long version with the probability tables, and the Kenyan tax-adjusted target table is on our Aviator strategy page and applies to JetX unchanged.

Predictors, hacks and the JetX app

Search JetX on a Kenyan phone and the suggestions fill with "predictor", "hack" and "apk". The explosion point is generated by a certified random number generator before the round plays out, and nothing on your phone reads it early. The predictor APKs are random-number toys with a referral link, or copied login pages that take your Pepeta or Betway password. The Telegram "JetX signals" groups post a multiplier, delete the misses and screenshot the hits. Our predictor guide has the anatomy of each.

There is no official JetX app. SmartSoft does not publish one, and the "Jet X" apps on Google Play are unrelated clones with the name borrowed. The game runs in the browser inside your bookmaker's site, and inside the Betway, SportPesa and Odibets apps where the casino section includes it. Pinning the mobile site to your home screen from Chrome's menu gets you an icon and a full-screen game without an APK; our Kenya Aviator app page shows the steps and they are identical for JetX.

Yes, at a licensed operator. Online betting is legal and regulated in Kenya; the Betting Control and Licensing Board is being replaced by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya under the Gambling Control Act 2025, and every brand on this page holds a Kenyan licence. You must be 18, and registration requires your ID number for the age check. SmartSoft's Malta licence covers the game itself. Offshore sites without a Kenyan licence also take JetX bets from Kenyans, usually in crypto or by card; the taxes do not apply there, but neither does any regulator when a withdrawal stalls, and we do not list them.

JetX rounds last eight seconds and M-Pesa deposits take five. Set a budget before you open the game, use auto cash-out so you are not reacting, and stop at your limit either way. Every licensed bookmaker has deposit limits and self-exclusion in the account settings. Gambling problem? Call the BCLB helpline or Kenya's mental health line 1199. 18+ only.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I play JetX in Kenya?

Pepeta, SportPesa, Betway and BongoBongo carry JetX under a Kenyan licence, and 1xBet has it for Kenyans with the rest of the SmartSoft catalogue. Odibets added it alongside Aviatrix in early 2025 and Bangbet promotes it heavily. Betika does not list it on the Kenyan site at the time of writing, which surprises people who assume every crash game is there.

Is JetX legal in Kenya?

Yes, when played at a bookmaker licensed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board, which is being replaced by the Gambling Regulatory Authority under the Gambling Control Act 2025. Every operator we list holds a Kenyan licence. You must be 18 and registered with your ID number. Offshore sites without a Kenyan licence also take JetX bets from Kenyans; we do not list them.

What is the minimum stake for JetX in Kenya?

Operator-dependent. SmartSoft's default floor is 0.10 in the local currency, and Kenyan sites set it between KSh 1 and KSh 20 per slot. Because JetX has three slots, the minimum amount you can have live in a round is three times that, though you can use one slot only. Maximum per slot is typically in the low thousands of shillings.

Can I play JetX for free in Kenya?

Yes. Most Kenyan operators have a demo or practice toggle inside the game, and SmartSoft's own demo runs in any phone browser. The demo uses play money with the same 97% maths. It hides two things: the live jackpot pool, which only builds from real stakes, and the Kenyan taxes on a real win.

What is the RTP of JetX?

97%, certified and identical at every operator, the same figure as Aviator. For every KSh 100 staked across all players over a very long run, KSh 97 comes back, with the jackpot payouts already included in that figure. In Kenya the 5% deposit excise and 20% withholding on net wins come on top of the 3% house edge.

How does the JetX jackpot work?

A fixed share of every stake at that operator feeds a pool shown above the game. Each round has a hidden trigger multiplier; if the jet reaches it before exploding, every player with a live, uncashed bet shares the pool in proportion to their stake, and the pool resets. The pool is built from players' money, so it does not improve the odds.

Is there a JetX predictor or hack that works?

No. The explosion point is generated by a certified random number generator before the round plays out, and no app reads it in advance. The JetX predictor APKs and Telegram signal groups aimed at Kenyans are random guesses, phishing pages for your bookmaker login, or referral schemes, and often all three. Treat any 'JetX hack' the way you treat an 'Aviator hack'.

Is there a JetX app for Kenya?

SmartSoft does not publish a standalone JetX app. The game runs in the browser inside your bookmaker's site, and in the Betway, SportPesa and Odibets apps where the casino section includes it. Anything called 'JetX APK' from outside your bookmaker's own domain or Google Play is a risk to your phone and your account.
